When people ask, “What do you do?” I never know what to say. It’s a bit of a mouthful:
“Well, I co-founded a studio called Spark Arts with my wife - we teach affordable classes in theater, music, comedy and movement. I’m a standup comedian. I produce and promote comedy shows. I am a published children’s playwright. I write, direct, produce and perform in theater productions and films. I’m a musician and songwriter. I do freelance marketing work as a copywriter and videographer. Oh, and I’m a Reiki practitioner. And a dad.”
And hell, that’s just what I’ve done so far. Next I may take on welding, cake decorating or Irish step dancing.
What is the common denominator in all of this, you ask?
I am compulsively, collaboratively creative.
